Wow! This is a great organic text! After taking undergraduate organic courses, I faced the graduate cume for organic chemistry, which I failed miserably. I bought this book after seeing many high reviews, and let me just say that they were right. This text is like a lecture in a book. It offers a less tradition order of presenting organic chemistry, but I have now begun to grasp this seemingly impossible subject with this ‘new British method’. It explains everything. It doesn’t leave something out for you to wonder about why it is the way it is. (However, because of this, the text is pretty lengthy.)
