Elementary Principles of Chemical Processes, 4th Edition prepares students to formulate and solve material and energy balances in chemical process systems and lays the foundation for subsequent courses in chemical engineering. The text provides a realistic, informative, and positive introduction to the practice of chemical engineering.
This is the binder version of Elementary Principles of Chemical Processes (4e) by Wiley. It’s got all the same information as the textbook, but at a cheaper price (and is only black and white). The paper itself is fine, it doesn’t seem like it’ll rip or anything. However, the hole punching is backwards – that is, when you put the text in with the holes on the left, the book is read right to left… It doesn’t affect the reading, but it is certainly strange. Lastly, the hole punching goes through some of the actual text, which might bother some people. From my brief experience with this text, I can figure out that it’s missing a simple word like “the”, but I haven’t read the book enough to know if it has a much more substantial effect on the reading of this text.
